- The Bakery Training Specialist (BTS) is a market-based hourly support role, responsible for the effective training of all bakers and validating the quality of completed bakes in cafes, in an assigned market, and providing support to the Regional Senior Operations Manager (RSOM) for all in-market bakery tasks and activities.
- Partner with GMs to interview and select a strong team of bakers and develop a capable team of Certified Baker Trainers (CBTs).
- Facilitate cafe and/or market “bread cuttings” (informational and educational baking events that communicate and teach participants key baking components and introduce new products) with confidence, excitement, passion and expertise.
- Validate and reinforce all Bakery standards, product specifications and procedures with all associates designated to bake in a bakery-cafe including, but not limited to, bakers, CBTs, cafe managers, etc.
- Foster a partnership between assigned bakery-cafes and the supporting Fresh Dough Facility (FDF), from where all fresh dough is made and shipped.
