- Candidates must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be willing to complete a 40 hour training course and sit for their RBT exam within 45 days of employment.
- Registered Behavior Technicians help the development of children who are on the Autism Spectrum by providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy, following a Behavior Intervention Plan, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client's individualized treatment plan built by BCBA/BC.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC.
