- Job Description Responsibilities Understands and is knowledgeable of all the requirements of abstracting cancer registry cases including assigning ICD-0 cancer codes; reportable and non-reportable cancer cases as required by the Florida Cancer Data System and the National Cancer Database; data required for each reportable malignant and benign site; terminology specific to abstracting process; and state and federal cancer data reporting guidelines.
