- The BSA Team Leader is responsible for direct oversight of the BSA/AML Specialists, conducting quality assurance reviews of BSA related requirements such as alerts, CTRs, and SARs and actively participating in the annual examination and audit, identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for process improvements.
- They will assist DCUs BSA Officer in executing DCUs BSA policy by ensuring that the daily tasks are completed by the BSA team, allowing the BSA officer to focus on the broader application of the BSA program across DCU.
- Oversee the daily BSA functions which include: OFAC, Alerts, SARs, CTRs and Quality Assurance.
- Assist with ongoing training of staff as well as onboarding of new BSA/AML employees.
- Ensure the automated BSA/AML System (Verafin) is operating efficiently, that daily reports are received in a timely manner, and that each days CTRs and SARs have been successfully submitted.
