- The BSA Analyst is responsible for fulfilling the Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act requirements through identification and investigation of suspicious activity, including but not limited to OFAC laws and the Bank's internal policies and procedures.
- In addition, a demonstration of banking and compliance knowledge in working with AML/BSA/OFAC related issues, as well as adhere to confidentiality in handling information received in the course of responsibilities.
- Under the direction of the Bank’s BSAO, assist in management and execution of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Fraud investigations and financial crime analyses to ensure bank-wide compliance with regulatory expectations and timely filing of required reporting.
- This includes compliance with the following: the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, and all additional guidance as published by FinCEN, FDIC, OCC or the U.S. Treasury Department.
- Researches, analyzes, and investigates customer activity for potential BSA/AML and Fraud-related suspicious activity, through system generated alerts, report reviews or employee referrals.
