- Position Summary:The successful Broadband Technician will provide installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Internet and telephone services for residential and commercial clients in a fiber based GPON environment.
- Perform work following all required safety requirements including, but not limited to, climbing digging, and drilling.
- Participate as required in on-call, evening, weekend, and/or shift work hours upon eligibilityMaintain workforce utilization level as requiredReports to Operations managerRequirements/Qualifications:Valid driver's licenseMinimum high school diploma.
- Preferred advanced education in information technology, electronics, or similar fieldExcellent customer oriented approach to work activitiesMust be able to pass BPI certification testing within first 12 monthsPhysical and Work Environment Requirements This position requires regularly bending, climbing, sitting, and lifting of more than 50 pounds.
