They are responsible for maintaining the vessel's state of readiness while instructing and assisting the families throughout the entirety of the voyage and sea scattering service. Boat Crew & Service Assistant (SD) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SAFETY <ul><li>Maintains passenger safety about the vessel.</li><li>Acts as First Responder in the event of any marine casualty, including but not limited to, INJURY, MOB, FIRE, FLOODING, GROUNDING, and ANCHORING</li></ul> GUEST SERVICES <ul><li>Coordinates the events and timing of the voyage and scattering service</li><li>Physically assists guests with mobility and stability needs</li><li>Provides a warm and attentive presence to all guests aboard M/V Naiad</li></ul> VESSEL READINESS <ul><li>Keeps the vessel stocked with supplies, before, during, and after each trip</li><li>Keeps the vessel ready constantly. Maintains cleanliness of vessel, both interior and exterior</li><li>Maintains dock cleanliness</li><li>Cleans heads, empties trash, washes the vessel, and wipes down surfaces</li><li>Loads stores and supplies</li><li>Completes paperwork and logs related to voyage and sea scattering services.</li></ul> MINIMUM Requirements Education <ul><li>High School diploma</li><li>College courses preferred</li></ul> Experience <ul><li>Previous experience with vessel operations & maintenance preferred.</li></ul> Certification/License <ul><li>CPR certification preferred.</li></ul> Knowledge, Skills and Abilities <ul><li>Basic seamanship</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li></ul> Work CONDITIONS Work Environment <ul><li>Working both dockside and underway in outdoor environment.
