- The Division of Health Psychology at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital is pleased to announce a position opening for a part-time (32 hours/week) behavioral health clinician (LCSW, PhD or PsyD) in Hartford HealthCare’s Tallwood Men’s Health center in Farmington.
- Tallwood Men’s Health is a dynamic practice comprised of a clinically integrated team of specialties including urology, cardiology, endocrinology, and medical and surgical weight loss, with over 14.000 patient visits seen annually in the Farmington office.
- The Tallwood Men’s Health behavioral health clinician is a very collaborative position, closely connected to the team of interdisciplinary providers, all of whom are aligned in the core mission of improving the health of men with a variety of medical conditions, including sexual dysfunction, cancer, obesity, sleep disorders, and heart disease.
- The clinician will craft a strong program to support the behavioral health of this population, understanding the unique needs and challenges that men face in accessing behavioral health care, particularly as it relates to sensitive issues like sexual dysfunction, urological disorders, and depression.
- The role in outpatient clinic of the Division of Health Psychology is an exciting one for a behavioral health clinician with an interest in helping people with issues that include adjustment to diagnoses, chronic pain, coping with stress, disease management, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
