- Experience and desire to work with school age children.
- Pursuing undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, Recreation or related field is preferred.
- Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED and Mandated Reporter certifications or obtain certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Nice to Have : A minimum of one year in a leadership or child care role preferred.
- Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation, the Assistant Superintendent of Recreation, Recreation Supervisor - School Day Programs & Camps, and Before and After School Coordinator, the Baker Station Site Leader will shall complete his/her assigned duties to the best of his/her abilities, offering suggestions of better ways to accomplish jobs and be ever mindful of the best interests of the St. Charles Park District and of fellow employees.
