- Work in the Avionics Harness Lab requires a high level of proficiency in the technical aspects of the work such as measuring and layout, terminating a variety of electrical connections on mechanical assemblies and performing various assembly soldering operations.
- A focus on safety, collaboration and quality allows us to work together to determine the best path forward, balancing speed and safety to create high quality components that will propel future astronauts and payloads into space for the improvement of humanity.
- Familiarity with fabricating, inspecting, and repairing wire harness assemblies.
- Experience with using testing/trouble shooting tools such as a digital multi-meter, milli-ohm meter, insulation tester or Hi-Pot test equipment.
- Familiarity with torquing procedures, sizing fasteners and harness assembly/disassembly.
