- Advise coaches during pre-season, in season, and off-season strength, conditioning and flexibility sessions.
- Organize and administer all aspects of record keeping, budgeting, facilities upkeep including the policies and procedures of the total athletic training program.
- Coordinate with Local Emergency Medical Services Agencies for game day coverage.
- Provide information on health topics such as substance abuse, diet, etc., and if needed refer the athlete to specialist for counseling or consultation in areas of personal, social, or emotional problems.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education OR the equivalent
