- The Department of Population Health Sciences at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the field of Epidemiology with a focus on Biosecurity, Infection Control, and/or Infectious Disease Prevention.
- Opportunities for collaboration exist within the College of Veterinary Medicine, Carilion School of Medicine and Carilion Hospital, Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC, and New River Health District, as well as local, regional, and national partners.
- Teaching: Contribute to the department's educational mission by teaching graduate and professional courses in epidemiology, biosecurity and infection control, infectious disease epidemiology, and/or related topics.
- Collaboration: Foster collaborations with local, regional, and national partners, including government agencies, industry, and non-profit organizations.
