- If so, the Department of Project Implementation (DPI) is seeking an Associate Technical Project Manager to manage municipal infrastructure projects that may include flood mitigation, stormwater and water quality improvements, sanitary sewer infrastructure, roadway improvements, transit projects, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, and parks and recreation facilities.
- What You Should BringThe candidate must be licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer or Landscape Architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia registration by reciprocity within 6 months.
- About the Department The Department of Project Implementation (DPI) is responsible for the implementation of capital infrastructure projects including intersection improvements, stormwater and water quality improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, flood mitigation and park improvements.
- Minimum & Additional RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture; five (5) years of related experience in a position as a Professional Engineer or Landscape Architect; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Preferred QualificationsTo be considered an ideal candidate, the candidate should have seven (7) years of experience as a Civil Engineer/Landscape Architect of which two (2) years as a project manager for construction of capital projects.
