- Responsible for providing effective change management and strategic, equity-minded leadership to administer the College services that support the student in the clarification and healthy attainment of their educational/life goals and for academic initiatives related to student success, including holistic, tiered advising, retention, and interdisciplinary programs.
- The position will serve as a thought leader and strategic planner to foster and promote student learning, engagement, and success through supervision of counseling, student health and wellness, access and disability services, student orientation and engagement, academic advising, athletics and recreation, Veterans Affairs, student conduct, and overall programming to promote the growth and development of all students.
- The Associate Provost is responsible for assuring quality delivery of services and programs through supervision of the Dean of Students, Associate Dean of Interdisciplinary Programs, and the Director of Access and Disability Services as well as the creation of appropriate operating procedures, division strategic plan, administration of budgetary matters, and implementing outcome based annual performance reviews.
- This senior-level position works collaboratively with other members of the provost's leadership teams to foster a climate focused on student success and inclusion, eliminate equity gaps, and uses data to inform decisions in alignment with the College's mission, vision, core values, strategic plan and goals.
- Makes recommendations to the Provost regarding programs, services and/or procedures which will aid in developing a more favorable climate for student growth, engagement, and development.
