- DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM SUMMARY KAZU is the flagship National Public Radio (NPR)-member radio station for the Monterey Bay Area, licensed in Pacific Grove, California, United States, by the University Corporation.
- The station's key programming includes its website, “kazu.org” as well as its two mobile applications, KAZU and NPR One. For national and international news, KAZU incorporates programming from NPR, BBC World News, PRI (Public Radio International) and APM (American Public Media).
- The AGM serves as a conduit between the radio programming department, corporate sponsorship, on-air announcers, and the news department.
- Promotes and maintains an atmosphere of excellent internal and external customer service within KAZU as a public radio station and NPR Affiliate.
- Successful candidates must be familiar with all areas of broadcast station operations including administration, budget, fundraising, technology and engineering, FCC regulations and compliance, CPB requirements, audience and community relations, production, underwriting, and ensure compliance with all applicable governmental, NGO, Foundation and University policies.
