- The George Mason University, Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music seeks a Director of Brass artist faculty member beginning Fall 2024.
- Applied teaching of graduate and undergraduate music majors within the Dewberry School of Music on one’s major instrument (horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, or tuba);
- Recruitment of brass students across all areas of the school, including students within the areas of Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, Jazz “Big Bands” and Combos, “Green Machine” Pep Band, and various Brass Chamber ensembles; and
- Additional teaching responsibilities include rotating topics of Brass Instrumental methods courses for music education students, brass pedagogy and literature, coaching, coordinating, and conducting small and large brass chamber music, and working collaboratively to support the Mason large ensembles.
