- Under general direction, is responsible for covering a wide variety of pressing governmental topics, manages the logistics of events, visibility, client management, vendor management, audience development, dissemination activities for civic activities for Bexar County.
- Plans and manages events from start to finish, including logistics management, client and vendor management, content development, speaker managements, audience development and post-event reporting
- Assists in content development and provide feedback on proposed events, projects, and programs with topics, research, invitations, overviews and event management
- Coordinates the various Open Records requests with the Public Information Officer and the District Attorney
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Public Administration or related field, and three (3) years of professional experience in public relations, public affairs, media relations, or planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
