- Job DescriptionThe Department of Music in the School of Arts, Media, and Communication at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Music specializing in Vocal Performance (Soprano or Mezzo-soprano), beginning fall.
- Secondary responsibilities may include teaching vocal pedagogy, diction, and/or vocal literature, depending upon the candidate’s strengths and departmental needs.
- The Performing Arts Center, opened in April , features a concert hall with flexible acoustics designed by Jaffe-Holden Acoustics, and is the principal performance venue of the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra and the Corpus Christi Chorale, as well as student and faculty performances.
- The new Arts & Media building which will be the new home of the Department of Music is expected to open in Fall of.
- The University has a heritage of teaching excellence with innovation in research and community engagement as part of the distinguished Texas A&M System.
