- The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites candidates to apply for a tenure track faculty position in Meteorology at the assistant professor level.
- is home to eleven tenured faculty and three lecturers across four degree granting programs in Geography and GIS, Environmental Science, Geology, and Meteorology.
- The department houses a bachelor's degree in meteorology, a minor in meteorology, and a minor in climate change, as well as several other majors and minors in the other programs.
- MSU Denver has a robust mentoring program for tenure-track faculty and this candidate would join a new GIS professor in the department and a cohort of incoming faculty in the Roadrunner Faculty Academy to set them up for success.
- The successful candidate will teach 9-12 credits of undergraduate meteorology courses each semester, that includes Physical Meteorology, Thermodynamic Meteorology, Climatology, and introductory Global Climate Change courses.
