- Under the direction of the General Manager, this individual will oversee all Directors and assist with the management, promotion, and operation of the facility, including operations, sales, marketing, finance, food and beverage, security, IT, production, technology, partnerships, special events, community relations, sustainability, branding, and all other related departments for the Cox Business Convention Center.
- The Cox Business Convention Center (CBCC) is located in the Arena District in downtown Tulsa, CBCC is a modern and award-winning venue providing over 275,000 SF of flexible event space.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with boards, government departments and agencies, entertainment industry, community and civic organizations to encourage continual and regular use of the CBCC
- Coordinate, implement, and administer specific plans and programs prescribed by corporate directives, to include matters of training and development; quality assurance; energy efficiency; safety/emergency procedures, crowd control and crisis management procedures, or other areas as needed
- Assist with bid/RFP process for major city events and tourism business
