Program Tracking Code Job Description The Boston University Washington program is an Internship and career- oriented program focused on helping BU students understand the ways of Washington as an international city, and as a historical, cultural, and political entity.
- It is administered by BU Study Abroad and the site serves as a focal point supporting other BU activities which often include visiting staff members, faculty, alumni, and students.
- The Assistant Director (AD) functions as one of two full-time employees on the Boston University Washington program staff, with the team also including part-time instructors and student workers.
- The Assistant Director also visits the main campus and recruits potential students while helping create new partnerships throughout the various departments, clubs and organizations within the University.
- The Assistant Director serves as backup to the Director when the Director is absent, and rotates as on-call staff member for emergencies.
