- The Assistant Director, Proposals (AD) will work with the Executive Director of Operations to establish the Economic Development (ED) proposals team.
- The AD will develop and administer this Economic Development's proposals team and the capability to secure funding through partnerships with SBU faculty, ED programs, industry, other institutions, and other external sources such as, for example, federal, state and non-profit organizations.
- For example, the AD will engage and lead on any ED proposals with all related groups including, but not limited to, the Office of Sponsored Programs, Office of Proposal Development, University academic departments, ED programs and centers, and outside partners for the preparation and submission of ED funding proposals.
