- Provide direct supervision, performance evaluation, and feedback for at least one Educational Specialist and oversight of respective program areas.
- Partner with departments throughout the University to develop and facilitate Strengths-based training for student staff, combining NACE and student leadership competencies.
- FINANCE & BUDGET] Develop and manage CliftonStrengths, Leadership for All Vols, and leadership development program operating budgets; Direct oversight of program expense, revenue, endowment, and gift accounts, assuring full compliance with University fiscal policies and procedures; Manage the W. Timothy Rogers Student Leadership Travel Fund application and award process; Collaborate and negotiate with off-campus sites for retreats, excursions, participant programs, etc.
- to ensure positive fiscal stewardship; Develop and implement fee waiver process (in collaboration with Financial Aid) for students demonstrating financial need for leadership development activities; Assist with developing and presenting the annual funding request proposal; Make recommendations and assist in planning of annual fund initiatives, outreach, and donor recognition events.
- The Knoxville region houses many leading corporations, including Bush Brothers & Company, Discovery Inc., Tennessee Valley Authority, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
