Welcome to Montage Health’s application process!Job Description:Under the leadership of the Director of Clinical Services, the Assistant Director of Clinical Services will oversee the day-to-day operations, administration, and clinical care provided to adolescents and their families at Ohana’s higher level of care (HLOC) including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Residential Program. This position will support the Community Hospital’s strategic plan, quality commitment, and values while ensuring compliance with hospital policies/procedures and applicable federal and state laws and standards to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.Key Responsibilities: Program OversightThe Assistant Director will be responsible for the administrative oversight of the development and implementation of daily clinical programming in Ohana’s residential and structured outpatient settings. This includes 7 days per week of residential care and 5 days per week of PHP/IOP programming. Additionally, this role will involve a level of fiscal responsibility including oversight of program billing compliance and oversight of program expenses.Staff Management The Assistant Director will support hiring, training, and supervision of licensed and unlicensed therapists, care managers and behavioral support staff who will be providing direct patient care to adolescents and their families 7 days per week. The Assistant director will be responsible for providing performance reviews and ongoing professional development opportunities across the HLOC at Ohana. The Assistant Director will support in developing and mentoring a high-performing team through an overarching focus on the creation of a work environment that is rigorous, collaborative, transparent, open, consistently fair, engaging, and fully committed to the dignity and well-being of our patients, their families, and one another.Compliance and Quality Assurance The Assistant Director will ensure that Ohana programs adhere to all federal and state licensing, legal and regulatory requirements, will develop and implement needed policies and procedures to remain in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Director will support the implementation of quality assurance measures to continually improve the delivery of quality of services, participate in compliance reviews and ensure competency of staff.Crisis and Milieu Management The Assistant Director will oversee and respond to crisis and milieu issues, ensuring the safety of all patients and staff, and conduct debriefings and adjustment to policies as necessary. The role requires working in structured outpatient and residential facility settings, which may involve direct interaction with adolescents and their families with significant and emotional challenges. This position may require availability for emergency situations including evenings or weekends to oversee program activities, ensure staff support and appropriate coverage plan of services.Reporting and Continuous Improvement The Assistant Director will maintain accurate records and utilize Ohana’s aggregated data reports on program metrics, challenges, and achievements, reporting outcome data to Ohana’s executive leadership. A high level of autonomy in the performance of the role and problem-solving is expected, however, cooperation and collaboration is equally essential for successful functioning. A high degree of flexibility is expected as this role might perform additional projects, tasks, or functions as assigned by leadership. All team members maintain an unwavering commitment to family-centered care and delivering quality outcomes, good public/customer relations and a broad clinical knowledge.Experience and QualificationsA minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in child and adolescent behavioral healthcare is required.Experience in a Residential, Partial Hospital, Intensive Outpatient or inpatient setting is preferred.Experience providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is preferred.Strong communication and crisis intervention skills are required.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, show an attention to detail and meet stringent deadlines.Proven ability to design and deliver innovative programming preferred; Skilled at presenting complex information in an understandable fashion.
