- The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer and Project Manager in the management and operations of the facility and systems of all building mechanicals; ensuring a safe working environment; conducting routine assessments; and performing day-to-day corrective and preventative maintenance.
- This position is responsible for systems and equipment including heating and ventilation, pumps, hot water, cold water, air conditioning, valves, piping, filters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, etc.
- Assist the Chief Engineer and Project Manager to ensure staff operate and maintain site-critical engineering systems and equipment that supply the facility with heat, utility and conditioned power, ventilation, air conditioning and other environmental and critical systems in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, industry best practices, and manufacturers specifications.
- Operate and maintain critical systems such as HVAC, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, batteries, switchgear, life safety and building automated systems, and utility systems.
- 2 years of experience (within the past 5 years) in Building Automation Systems (BAS); Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); VISTA; boilers and chillers over 1200 tons
