- The Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences Department (NRES) in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is seeking a full-time academic year, tenure-track Assistant/Associate professor in applied geospatial science in environmental management starting September 16, 2024.
- The scholarship area of the ideal candidate would broadly center on using a range of geospatial analytics and technology to improve natural resource management, advance agriculture, and sustain ecological integrity.
- Scholarship alignment with key CA statewide priorities such as forest management, wildfire and terrestrial carbon cycling, biodiversity conservation, or water management are considered strengths.

- Doctorate degree in an environmental science or natural resources discipline with demonstrated research experience in the application of geospatial analysis to the management of natural resources, ecosystem integrity or agricultural systems.
