- The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota is recruiting a Transplant Nephrology faculty, consistent with its plans to grow its Kidney Transplant program.
- The Division is comprised 14 general nephrologists, and 4 transplant nephrologists, many of whom are world-renown clinicians and researchers.
- Clinical practice includes outpatient clinics in the state of the art M Health Clinics and Surgery Center, and an inpatient transplant nephrology consult service at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview.
- This partnership represents a collaboration between University of Minnesota Physicians, University of Minnesota Medical Center and Fairview Health Services to build a nationally known academic health system that combines academic and community resources to provide the very best clinical care to patients and communities, while also supporting research and education across the joint healthcare delivery system.
- This faculty position is expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Medicine and the Division of Division of Nephrology and Hypertension and will participate in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and meet the academic expectations as set for by the Department Chair and Division Director.
