- Position description Arts & Humanities Collection Strategist, Music LibrarianCollection Development and Management The University of California San Diego Library seeks applications from highly motivated, innovative, collaborative, and service-oriented professionals to join the Library as our Arts & Humanities Collection Strategist and Music Liaison Librarian (Associate or Full Librarian).
- Responsibilities of the Position Arts & Humanities Collection StrategistCollections within the Arts & Humanities portfolio support the Departments of Visual Arts, Music, Literature, Philosophy, and Theatre & Dance, as well as related disciplines, such as World History and Cultural Studies, Film Studies and Classical Studies.
- Subject Librarian for MusicLiaison assignment includes working closely with the Department of Music faculty, staff, and students, Art Power, the performing arts initiative on campus, and other constituents pursuing music scholarship on the UC San Diego campus.
- Serves as the primary contact for research and educational needs of the Department of Music and develop and promote innovative services and resources to enhance the research, teaching, and learning mission of UC San Diego.
