- Overview:Cedar Point has an opening in its Park Operations Division for Area Manager of Fire and EMS. This position assists the Director of Safety with all operations related to the safety and health issues of employees, guests and park property.
- Responsibilities:Operates a vehicle and a variety of equipment such as a computer, copier, calculator, telephone, two-way radio, fax machine, and other general office equipment.
- Operates vehicles such as a fire pumper, rescue truck, ambulance, scooters, generators, fire suppression equipment, rescue/extrication equipment, gas detection equipment, weather monitoring equipment, first aid equipment, personnel protective equipment, etc.
- Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other Park management, staff and employees, subordinates, corporate personnel, guests, vendors, emergency response personnel, law enforcement personnel, insurance representatives, auditors, inspectors, various government agencies, hospital/health care personnel, etc.
- Assists in covering shifts as Safety Officer, acting as coordinator for all daily activities of the department within the Park and as liaison between Safety and other departmental management.
