- The Area Manager has overall responsibility for the daily operations of a Terminal(s) and/or Pump Station(s), including all operational activities, including marine operations where applicable, performance management of staff, safety, quality control, budgeting, compliance and regulatory matters.
- The Area Manager is also responsible for any Company facilities/assets (pipelines, booster stations, remediation sites, etc.)
- He/she manages the a staff Assistant Area Manager, Lead Operator, Operators, Technicians, Line Riders, Field Scheduler and may oversee activities of Quality Control Technician.
- The Area Manager is responsible for effective and efficient oversight and day-to-day management of their Terminal(s) and/or Pump Station(s), and/or any associated marine transfer facility(s).
- Effectively coordinates all requirements affecting military and commercial products at applicable assignment locations, including quality control issues, additives, notification procedures, sampling, meter calibration, coordination of witnesses where required, overages, shortages, and service interruptions.
