- The SARA EMP Survivability and Effects Department within the High Power Electromagnetics Division (HPEM) is looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced Applied EM Scientist (Engineer/Physicist) to formulate methodologies and apply advanced test techniques to High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) assessment and hardening activities.
- The Applied EM Scientist will be the technical lead of a diverse, highly skilled group.
- 10+ years’ experience with a minimum of MS in Applied Electromagnetics, Physics, Electrical Engineer, or Aerospace Engineering with working knowledge of EMI/EMC, Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3), lightning, High Powered Microwave (HPM), or HEMP engineering.
- Working knowledge of system level EM testing and signal processing
