- As an Anesthesia Technician, you will be responsible for providing veterinary care for our patients.
- Qualifications : Must possess a valid license as a Veterinary Technician or be board eligible Minimum of two years of experience working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Experience in specialty medicine preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Responsibilities: Proper handling and restraint of medically compromised patients Triage and intake skills/TPR Critical thinking in emergency setting Perform technical procedures such as venipuncture, administering IV fluids, and catheter placement.
- Monitor, induce, maintain and recover patients undergoing anesthetic procedures Provide nursing care and treatment to hospitalized patients Educate pet owners on post-operative and at-home care for their pets.
- Assist with advanced imaging (Fluoroscopy/X-ray/Ultrasound/MRI/CT) Communicate with other departments within the hospital or clinic for the overall success of the practice.
