- The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of aerostructures components used in the aerospace industry Essential Functions: Visual Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of aerostructures components to identify any defects, damage, or discrepancies in the manufacturing process.
- Monitor assigned work areas for adherence to processes and procedures, proper use of tools and fixtures, calibration date of tools in use, shelf life of life limited items (i.e. rubber goods, adhesives, sealants, etc.)
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Perform or oversee non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic testing, or other testing methods to report conformance.
