- The Specialist Affordable Housing is responsible for completing all administrative activities related to Affordable Housing program compliance for a portfolio of assigned communities.
- This position will follow our hybrid schedule out of our NYC regional office, with three days in the office per week.
- Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding AVB’s affordable housing program and provides guidance to on-site staff regarding new lease-ups to ensure compliance with program.
- Coordinates Housing Assistance (Section 8) documentation for move-in and renewals, which includes effective communication with Housing Authority and on-site leasing office for rental amount, community information, and lease begin date negotiation.
- 2 years of affordable housing program administration required.
