- Overview and Essential Functions A successful Aerial Design Technician I shall be able to design pole attachments for telecommunications facilities, complete pole applications, and create design maps.
- At a minimum, the Aerial Design Technician preferred experience includes a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure, NESC as it applies to pole attachments, and the ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with telecommunications design software; ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data.
- Experienced in the use of hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, Ocalc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.)
- Experienced in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
