- In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day.
- The Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care Fellowship is a one-year program that enables advanced practice nurses and physician assistants to acquire robust clinical experiences and critical care knowledge base within the multi-faceted critical care areas at UCMC. Clinical rotations include Surgical Intensive Care, Medical Intensive Care, Neurosurgical Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, and more.
- The APP Fellow is expected to participate in protected, non-clinical didactic education in the form of lectures, simulation, skills labs, case studies, presentations, and other components of the critical care fellow curriculum as determined by the coordinator and director.
- The program is open to recent new master's prepared graduates from accredited university and board certification in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, recent new master's prepared graduates from an accredited university in Physician Assistant, and experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants interested in critical care but with no clinical critical care background.
- Current valid APRN license in the state of Ohio prior to start.
