- In this position the Advanced Engineer will play a leadership role in using modeling and simulation (FEA/CFD) to enable and accelerate innovation and commercialization of new plastic container products.
- This person will conduct internal research as well as lead external collaboration with industrial and academic experts to develop a wide-range of state-of-art technologies in analysis workflow automation, optimization, polymer constitutive model, thermo-mechanical/fluid-structure-interaction multiphysics simulation, and blow modeling simulation, as well as material testing and product testing methods for material mechanical property characterization and simulation result validation.
- Utilize in-house simulation methodologies to analyze and improve container design and performance; conduct virtual DOE and optimization; participate in the design of plastic container, finishing, injection mold, and blow mold; Manage and organize product design/analysis information via PLM system.
