- Location: UAB Main, 100% onsiteWhat You Will Do:The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing inpatient and outpatient admissions.
- Registers incoming patients, enters information on admitting forms, explains hospital regulations, and assigns patients to rooms based on the nature of the illness and the type of accommodations available.
- Serves as a liaison between patients, their families, visitors, and the hospital (administration, management, hospital staff, medical staff, etc.)
- Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate demographic and financial information from a variety of sources, including patient interviews physician offices and in-house departments.
