- Job Description QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The qualifications and skill requirements for these adjunct faculty nursing positions include A current Florida RN licensure and a minimum of two (2) years recent experience for all nursing programs.
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution, and all instructors must meet the appropriate credentialing requirements for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential job functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing, instructing and grading all class coursework; Assigning final grades; Adjunct nursing faculty must adhere to the guidelines of Indian River State College, Florida Board of Nursing, and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
- This position also requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
- It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, telephone, and other equipment as necessary.
