- UMD Swenson College of Science and Engineering is recruiting a part-time adjunct instructor to help teach in the Applied Materials Science (AMS) graduate program.
- The adjunct instructor will have the responsibility of co-teaching one or more courses, which includes creating the courses, syllabi, and other instructional materials, creating a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff and other constituents from diverse backgrounds and hold office hours in the Applied Materials Science (AMS) Master's program at UMD.
- A Master's Degree in materials science, civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, polymer science, polymer engineering, or closely related field
- Experience in one or more of the following materials: polymers, metals, composites, concrete, semi-conductors, or other sustainable and resilient material
- Industrial or academic experience in materials science and/or engineering
