- The Center for Humanitarian Engineering and International Development was established in 2020 as an outgrowth from the Villanova Engineering Service Learning Program.
- The Center partners with non-profit organizations globally for the purposes of creating unique experiential learning opportunities for students and faculty wherein outreach efforts are integrated with research and curriculum in support of poverty alleviation and global challenges related to sustainable development.
