- GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, Kirkwood Community College is seeking an instructor to teach in-person/face to face Composition I and II courses at the Iowa County Center campus in Williamsburg, Iowa and/or the Washington County Regional Center campus in Washington, Iowa. The instructor must evaluate, record, and report student achievement and progress in assigned courses in accordance with department, division, and College policies and procedures.
- Make student referrals when deemed necessary to the other college personnel such as the dean, counselor, Financial Aid, etc., for more specialized information and assistance.
- Report attendance for financial aid purposes.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A conferred Master’s degree by date of appointment from an accredited institution with: At least 18 graduate hours in a combination of English, Communication, Creative Writing, Journalism, Literature, Speech, Technical Writing, or English Education coursework.
