- Periodically, adjunct teaching positions become available in Farmingdale's programs in Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Technology (LET) and Criminal Justice: Police Courts and Corrections (PCC).
- The LET program blends coursework in computers, forensic science, crime prevention, technology and law to provide students with the necessary skills to control crime as well as to conduct investigations of crimes committed on a computer or at a crime scene.
- The PCC program blends coursework in policing, courts and corrections to provide students with the necessary skills to pursue careers in various disciplines within criminal justice.
- The applicant should have specific knowledge about crime analysis practices and tools (e.g. software), the identification of crime patterns, compiling crime data for analysis and interpretation, crime mapping tools and techniques, geographic information systems (GIS), and criminal intelligence.
- Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners.
