Accounting Clerk: The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the correct and timely processing of payables and receivables/collections, as well as other general ledger duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills that allow him or her to coordinate resources for multiple projects. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage, process, and analyze accounts payable activity</li> <li>Record invoices to appropriate accounts on a timely basis</li> <li>Process check runs accurately and timely</li> <li>Work with vendors to ensure that all payables are recorded and paid</li> <li>Process periodic expense reports</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate documentation is submitted, transactions are coded correctly and statements reconciliation</li> <li>Manage, process, and analyze sales billing activity</li> <li>Work with reps to ensure that invoices are accurate and sent to appropriate individuals</li> <li>Ensure timely collection of billings</li> <li>Daily review and reconcile bank activity for all cash accounts</li> <li>Update and completion of weekly cash requirements and cash flow reports</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate journal entries are processed</li> <li>Process and assist with other periodic payments and compliance reports</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Knowledge and Skills: <ul> <li> Excel </li> <li> Knowledge of A/P and A/R processes</li> <li> Organized, proactive, energetic, desire to solve problems</li> <li> Strong communication skills</li> <li> Able to work in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul> $37,440- $46,000 Timing is everything.
