Job Description Performs a variety of accounting functions in support of the Program Management Office. Duties And Responsibilities <ul><li> Processes accounts payable vouchers. </li><li> Enters account payable in Costpoint which involves voucher creation and system entry. </li><li> Completes a weekly check and ACH process to pay vendors. </li><li> Reconcile the monthly corporate credit card statements for the ATSS contract. </li><li> Prepare the monthly Cost Report. </li><li> Process bi-weekly cost voucher and billing in Costpoint and submit to Government financial system. </li><li> Review, approve and log new Purchase Requisitions. </li><li> Audit weekly payroll reports for labor processing. </li><li> Coordinate with employees and managers on timesheet corrections, issues, and completions. </li><li> Assist employees with various questions and concerns. </li></ul>Required Skills And Qualifications <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or another related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for educational requirement. </li><li> 4+ years of successful experience in accounting to include accounts payable, job costing, general ledger, reconciliation, billing, and report generation. </li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li> Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. </li><li> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority. </li><li> Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution. </li><li> Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications. </li></ul>Physical Qualifications <ul><li> The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment. </li><li> Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. </li><li> Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time. </li><li> Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted. </li><li> Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned. </li><li> Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions. </li><li> Must be able to work in maintenance, fabrication, and automotive test course environments. </li><li> Must be capable of kneeling, bending and standing while performing assigned duties. </li><li> Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities. </li></ul>Terms Of Employment & Eligibility Requirements <ul><li> Must be a U.S. Citizen. </li><li> Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li> Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. </li><li> Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests. </li><li> Must be able to successfully complete a background check. </li><li> Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment. </li></ul>The above are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel in this position.
