- Under general supervision an Access Control technician is responsible for performing skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of the ASU access control system, closed circuit television (CCTV) and security systems hardware and software.
- Technician will service devices such as; locking hardware, conduit, power supplies, cable pathway systems, firestop systems, various electronic components, and various cable that includes but is not limited to: twisted pair cable, coax, power limited tray cable, stranded cable and solid conductor low voltage cable.
- Maintain and service the Lenel access control system plus assist in maintenance of GENETEC CCTV system.
- Use knowledge of commercial grade door hardware such as: Von Duprin, Schlage, ASSA Abloy and Best Precision.
- Disciplines within PSI include; emergency management, continuity of operation, ASU fire marshal, electronic access, and the enterprise camera system.
