Solid waste landfills manage the disposal of municipal and other solid waste by operating landfilling sites, including waste receiving, spreading and compacting, covering, and monitoring environmental conditions. Jobs may include landfill operator, equipment operator (dozers/compactors), environmental or sampling technician, scalehouse/customer support roles, and maintenance work.
