Claims Adjusting

Claims adjusting professionals investigate insurance claims, review policies and documentation, and determine claim eligibility and payment amounts for carriers or third-party administrators. Jobs often include claims adjuster, field or desk adjuster, documentation review, and customer communications with policyholders, repair vendors, and investigators. You’ll typically work in office and/or field settings, may handle physically and emotionally demanding loss scenes, and may need licensure depending on state.
