Aquaculture employers raise and harvest aquatic animals like fish, shellfish, and other cultured species in controlled water environments (e.g., tanks, ponds, cages, or raceways). Jobs often include farm or hatchery technician work, feeding and monitoring animals, water-quality checks, equipment maintenance, and harvest/processing support. Many roles are hands-on and outdoors, with early shifts and seasonal workload; some positions may require basic boating/safety practices depending on the site.
