- The Pre-Sales Engineer will have knowledge of digital transformation, cloud modernization, and has experience with cloud data management products and technologies (similar to VantageCloud Lake or other database technologies).
- The Pre-Sales Engineer learns new technologies quickly and builds hands-on experience themselves so that they can guide customers through their Trials of the product in the cloud.
- The Pre-Sales Engineer is comfortable building customer relationships ranging from DBA to Senior Management, and acts as a first point of contact offering subject matter expertise and guidance.
- Prioritizes learning hands-on skills and experience with company's cloud data management product themselves first to ensure they can confidently function in their SME role
